The Victoria Cross to Shropshire Regiments : outline

Eight Victoria Crosses have been awarded to men of the Shropshire Regiments - five to the 53rd during the Indian Mutiny, 1857-59, one to the 10th (Shropshire and Cheshire Yeomanry) Battalion, K.S.L.I., in World War One and two for North West Europe in World War Two.
